He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Edward Olmstead and Katherine M. Sporer; his wife Marilyn Olmstead; his children, Timothy Olmstead, Darrell Taft, Cheryl Smith and Karen Olmstead; and his grandson Christopher Olmstead. He was also cherished by grandchildren, and more great-grandchildren.
