He was predeceased by: his father Robert Dye. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Dye of DeLand; his wife Jennifer Dye (Adkins); his daughter Emily Dye of DeLand; his adoptive son Davis Dye of Port Orange, Florida.; and his brother Christopher Dye of Orange City.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the First Assembly Church (551 S Kepler Rd, DeLand, FL 32724). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
