He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Henry Converse and Ruth Ann Elise Converse (Koch); his wife Dorothy "Dee" Converse (Neill); his stepfather Dr. Thomas B. Powell; and his siblings, Jack Powell, Donald Powell and Winifred Stanfield (Powell).
He is survived by: his cousins, Arlyn G. Converse of Leawood, KS, Carole Ruth Converse of Larned, KS and William P. Koch of Washington, D. C.; his stepdaughter Marilyn Parlato; and his grandson Ryan Parlato of Colorado Springs, Colorado..
The family requests any memorial contributions can be made to the Pawnee Co Humane Society in Larned.
