It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeanne Seale Meeks of Deland, Florida, born in Montgomery, Alabama, who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Seale and Eugenia Seale; her husband John Odatus Shannon; her former husband Roger R. Meeks, Sr.; and her sons, John Odatus Shannon III and Patrick Michael Shannon.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jeanda Ward and Seale George (Hank); her stepdaughter Michele Leppert (Denny); and her daughter-in-law Beth Shannon. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Vitas Community Connection.org (Volusia/Flagler County, FL).
