In the vast expanse of eternity, Gloria shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gloria farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Lilly and Magdalene Payne; and her husband Donald G. Barker. She is survived by: her children, Debi Carns (Chuck) of Orlando, FL, Donald G. Barker Jr. (Bonnie), Franklin A. Barker (Sandy) and Robert P. Barker (Stephanie); and her brothers, Smokey and Jack Stover. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Stetson Baptist Church (1025 W Minnesota Ave, DeLand, FL 32720). An entombment was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at the DeLand Memorial Gardens (600 E Beresford Ave, DeLand, FL 32724).
