She is survived by: her child Zaneta Brown (Derek); her husband Calvin Gilchrist; her daughter Benita Gilchrist Farley (Rodney); her grandchildren, Jasmine Adams (Lawrence), Adrianna Farley, Zoriah Brown and Zorinah Brown; her great grandchild Lawrence Adams III; and her siblings, Lawrence C Mims (Doris), Barbara Bailey-Castro, Emily Bailey-Mason, Jasper Edward, Bailey, Jr. (Josephine) and Fern Bates (Larry). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
