She was predeceased by: her husband Juan "Wally" Ortega; her son Jose Antonio Ortega; and her grandson Jon Jonathan. She is survived by: her daughters, Maria Thomas, Waleska Ortega, Cathy Hamilton and Daisy Ortega; her grandchildren, Patricia, Jullien, Kayla, Jaime, Jarely, Efrain, Alejandro, Taino, Cali, Alani, Cassia and Aison; her great grandchildren, Joniel, Kai and Isaiah; and her siblings, Norberto, Jose, Ramonita, Gloria, Santa and Carmen.
