With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Redding Bacon of Defuniak Springs, Florida, born in Anniston, Alabama, who passed away on December 27, 2021 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Redding Bacon to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Perkins Bacon and William Dennis Bacon. He is survived by: his wife Nadine; his sons, Redding (Lauren) of Denver and Russell (Sheena) of St. Augustine Beach, Florida; his stepdaughter Jamie (John) of Kennesaw, Georgia; his siblings, Virginia (Jim) of Lamont, Elizabeth (Leon) of Mena, Arkansas and Mark (Yubeiri); his niece Mabel; his nephew Henry; and his grandchildren, Mabel, Redding of St. Augustine Beach, Katherine and Jack of Kennesaw, Georgia.. He is also survived by nurses, friends, and family.
Due to COVID, a family only funeral will be held January 8, 2022, at St. Agatha's Episcopal Church, 144 Circle Drive, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the church and/or MD Anderson Cancer Sarcoma Center, Houston, Texas.
