He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Cosson and Crealous Henderson Cosson; his former wife Reba Gore Cosson; and his siblings, Shakespeare Albert "S. A." Cosson, Richard "Harry" Cosson and Winnie Wilkerson Williamson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda "Carol" Chandler Cosson; his children, Wiley Ashly Cosson (Sheri), Twyla Cosson Hall (Adrian) and Monika Renee Cosson; his grandchildren, Tyler Hall, Paige Hall Provost (Orfeo), Emily Hall, Thomas Cosson, Midian "Middy" Cosson Penberg (Braeden), Sara Faith Hall, Jackson Sheppard and Parker Sheppard; and his great grandchildren, Gracie Provost, Maddie Provost and Bentley Hall. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
