He was predeceased by: his parents, James Calvin Taylor and Thursie Jane Darnell Taylor; his daughter Patricia Lynn Taylor; and his siblings, Carl Taylor, Johnny Taylor, Earl Taylor, Bill Taylor, Arthur Taylor and Gladys Brediger.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Louise Bennett Taylor; his brothers, Robert Taylor (Ruthalee) of Jasper, Georgia, Raymond Taylor (Ruth) of Jasper, Georgia and Barney Taylor (Patsy) of Jasper, Georgia; his children, Pamela Taylor Harrison (Eddie), Steve Virlyn Taylor (Michelle) and Danny Herbert Taylor (Connie); his grandchildren, Tina Harrison Martin (Tommy), Sheila Harrison Carter (Timmy), Mariah Ruth Taylor Nelson (Spencer) and Logan Ethan Taylor (Mallory); his stepgranddaughter Erika Rice; his great grandchildren, Brittany Nicole Robertson, Hailey Brooke Carter and Lauren Jade Carter; and his stepgreat-grandson Taylor Martin.
