He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Adkins and Evelyn Carter Adkins; and his brother Jimmie Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Mary J Adkins; his children, Christopher (Amanda Adkins) and Gretchen Holland (Michael Holland); his grandchildren, Ryan Adkins, Evan Adkins, Morgan Adkins, Katherine Ybarra and Joseph Ybarra; and his sister Marilyn (Jerry Pendergrass).
