He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Fountain and Mary Sangster Fountain; his sisters, Pat Padgett and Patty Sue Brazil; and his foster parents, Mayo Statz and Frances Statz.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Fountain of DeFuniak Springs; his children, Chris Fountain (Kim) of Holt, Jennifer Barefield of Bluffton and Curtis Fountain of DeFuniak Springs; his siblings, AC Fountain (Jean) of St. Cloud, Florida and Julia Lee Woods (Russell) of Bay County; his siblings-in-law, Kay Fountain of Panama City, Larry Padgett of Pace and Orman Caswell of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; and his grandchildren, Delayney Fountain, Roxy Parker Fountain, Mary Elizabeth Barefield, Isabella Barefield, Ava Fountain and Sawyer Fountain. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
