It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Bowie Pickard of Defuniak Springs, Florida, born in Frankfort, New York, who passed away on April 4, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marris Bowie and Elsie Clark Bowie; her husband Thomas "Tom" Pickard, Sr.; her siblings, Marris J. Bowie, Jr., David E. Bowie, Agnes Crim, Lucinda V. Bowie and Marion E Bowie; and her granddaughter Justina "Tina" "Bell" Pickard.
She is survived by: her children, Elsie Watson (Donald) of Cumming, Georgia of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Tom Pickard Jr. (Thenny) of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Elizabeth Carnley of DeFuniak Springs, Florida and Ellen McLean (Randy) of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; and her grandchildren, Judson Watson (Jeannie), Tommy Pickard (Somer), Timmy Pickard (Lisa), Kacie McLean, Ashley Watson, Windell Carnley (Jessica), Erica McLean and David Pickard. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
