We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2020, at the age of 85, Shirley Hecker of Defuniak Springs, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Col. Robert G. Hecker; her daughter Lisa Kelley; and her brother Anthony L. Combahee. She is survived by: her son Ronald Hooks Tina Buckley (Rob); her grandchildren, Chris, Isabelle, Asa, Spencer, Andrea and Robby; and her siblings, Cherry Combahee Matinas (Stratton) and Thomas M. Combahee (Janet).
