He was predeceased by: his stepfather William Guy Fannin; his brother Larry Fannin; his uncle Charles J. Ward; and his wives, Diane Houseman and Tina Houseman.
He is survived by: his children, Roy Dale Houseman II, Jarrod Houseman and Ashley Houseman; his sister Bertha Fannin-Beaver; his aunt Hazel Evans; his grandchildren, Peyton Houseman, Emily Houseman and Scarlet Houseman; and his niece Kris Lee (Jeffery Causey).
