Rhea Baskin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rhea Baskin of Defuniak Springs, Florida, who passed away on February 1, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura Veroutis and Gus Veroutis; and her aunts and uncles, Ginger, Anna, Helen, Mary, Alfonzo and Joe.
She is survived by: her husband Stephen J. Baskin; her children, Catherine Sloan of Newport, RI, Thomas Von Raub (Dana) of Celebration, FL, Helen Bevelacqua of Celebration, FL and James C. Sloan of DeFuniak Springs, FL; her grandchildren, Crystal Appel (Dan) and Thomas Marcus Van Raub; her great grandchild Chloe Rose Appel of DeFuniak Springs, FL; and her sister Katina Johnson (Harold). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Rhea "Debbie" Baskin's memory to St. Jude or the Salvation Army.
