He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Poole; his parents, John Pool and Laura Pool; and his brothers, Mabry and James.
He is survived by: his children, Edsel Poole (Linda) of Covington, LA, Karen Joseph (George) of Shalimar, FL and Dennis Poole; and his grandchildren, Kimberly Joseph, Charles Joseph, Brett Poole, Travis Poole and Meghan Poole. He is also survived by four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
