It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minnie Willene Cawthon of Defuniak Springs, Florida, born in Ponce de Leon, Florida, who passed away on April 17, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Walker Currington and Burlie Mae Rushing Currington; her husband George Donald Cawthon; her siblings, Junior Currington, Alvie Currington, Rod Roy Currington, Argie Lee Griswald and Marjorie Ann Currington; her grandson Lathan Riley; and her great grandchild Luis Cirino III.
She is survived by: her sons, Donald E. Cawthon (Melissa Hyatt) of Ponce and Donnie F. Cawthon of Niceville, Florida; her daughter-in-law Christina of Panama City, Florida; her grandchildren, Sierra Lee Cawthon, Donald Walker Cawthon and Maddie Cawthon; her great grandchildren, Ane'Lee Circino, Tyler Ray Cawthon and Elizabeth Minnie Cook; and her brother Charles Walker Currington. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
