We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2021, at the age of 90, Milford Lamar Bass (Defuniak Springs, Florida), born in Opp, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcom Bass and Ilene Donaldson Bass; his wife Charlene Lee Bass; his siblings, George D. Bass (Juanita) and Miladean Bass; his siblings-in-law, Allen Harvey and Bobbie Bass; his daughter-in-law Jennifer J. Bass; and his grandson R. Ryan Mason.
He is survived by: his pets, Kitty Fisher and Frisky; his children, Stanley Bass (Paola) of Gordon, Renee Mason (Richard) of Frankford and Tammie Bass King of DeFuniak Springs, FL; his siblings, Olene Harvey and Johnny Bass; his sister-in-law Mary W. Smith; his grandchildren, Robert Mason (Jennifer Tealey), Sarah King (Ashley King), Daniel King (J. J. Diah) and Reese Stanley Bass; and his great grandchildren, Samantha "Izzy" Mason and James Dylan Mason. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family appreciates your eagerness to share in our love for Milford, but respectfully requests that while attending services in his memory that you wear a face mask at times when you are unable to maintain physical distance.
The family requests that memorials be made to the charity of the giver's choice such as the United Methodist White Christmas fund, The Alzheimer's Association, and the Arthritis National Research Foundation.
