She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Benjamin Lane and Addie Mae Adams; her husband Charles L. Hughey; her children, William "Bill" Hill and Sharon Carnley; her siblings, Robert "Tink" Smith and Claydie Rushing; and her great grandchild Lindi Faith Hedgecoth.
She is survived by: her son Samuel Phillip Hill (Phebe) of Crossville; her sister Betty Shifflett of Valrico; and her extended family, Darlene Hoffer (Jerry) of Tennessee, Charles Hughey, Lamar Hughey and Rhonda Hathaway (Dave). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
