It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavern Lucille Skipper of Defuniak Springs, Florida, born in Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on November 5, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Jefferson Jones and Alta Mae Combs Landry; her husband Thomas Lester Skipper; her son Bennie Douglas Wade, Jr.; her granddaughter Rebekah Ruth Joedeman; and her brothers, Jimmy Hanagriff and James Hanagriff.
She is survived by: her daughter Rosanna Elizabeth Joedeman (Mike); her grandchildren, Joel Nathan Joedeman (Katie) and Sarah Rachel Buhlmann (Matt); her great grandchildren, Rebeckah Price, Melody Joedeman, Harmony Joedeman, Katrina Buhlmann and Benjamin Buhlmann; and her brothers, Floyd Jones, Richard Hanagriff and Lawrance Hanagriff (Patti). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
