With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julian C. Lane of Defuniak Springs, Florida, born in Cedartown, Georgia, who passed away on January 6, 2022 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Julian C. Lane to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Milford Lane and Georgia Henderson Lane; his wife Shirley Bennett Lane; and his siblings, Billy Gerald Lane, Charles Johnny "Mickey" Lane and Jackie Lois Lane.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Lane (Terri), Sharon Lane Highsmith (Stan), Joel Lane (Cheryl), Barry Lane (Dorothy) and David Lane (Jennifer); and his sister Peggy Lane Moody. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a donation be made in his name to the Walton County Council on Aging or Socks Thrift Store.
