He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Ervin Smith, Jr. and Mattie Florene Robertson; and his grandparents, Homer E Smith, Sr. and Ella Mae Smith. He is survived by: his wife Candi Smith; his children, Kyle V Smith, John E Smith, Richard J Smith, Andrew M Smith, Hannah R Smith and Maddie J Smith; and his sisters, Bettie A Mize and Lisa J Gatch.
