We are sad to announce that on September 15, 2020, at the age of 76, Jimmy Lane Thompson of Defuniak Springs, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Lane and Thelma Martin Thompson; his siblings, Johnny Thompson and Dorothy Royal; his son Mitchell Thompson; and his granddaughter Samantha Lane Sheppard.
He is survived by: his wife Ada L. Thompson; his son David Thompson; his stepson Randy Nelan (Susan); his daughter Samantha Vernava (Randy); his stepdaughter Jenelle Martin (Doug); his brothers, Marty Thompson, Bill Thompson (Bert), Mike Thompson and Bobby Thompson (Catholine); and his grandchildren, Phillip Myers (Jennifer), Andrew Vernava (Yootha), Adam Vernava, Camille Vernava, Kara Parrish (Scotty), Alexis Thompson, Macie Thompson, Malia Nalan, Nathan Martin and Drew Martin. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
