With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jewell Goodwin Rushing of Defuniak Springs, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Goodwin and Edna Goodwin; her husband Delmar Rushing; her daughter Debbie Infinger; and her granddaughter Nikki Pitman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindi Murphy Cooper (David) and Kim Rushing Wagner (Bubba); her grandchildren, Natasha Cooper, Chaise Nowling and Coley Lewis (Chris); her great grandchildren, Caylee Arnold (Dylan), Hannah Cooper (Josh), Mariah Leverette, Brynlee Pitman, Saylor Pitman, Peyton Infinger, Avery Nowling, Chaise Nowling Jr., Emma Lewis, Isaac Lewis, Abby Lewis and Eli Lewis; her great great grandchild Lynlee Arnold; her close friend Jerry Kelley; her pet Anna; and her niece Jackie Herring.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel (230 Park Ave, Defuniak Springs, FL 32435). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
