He was predeceased by: his parents, Harim Herrington and Mary Herrington; and his siblings, James, Odell, Bennie Herrington and Ruth Mashun.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Miller (Robert), Jerrie Lee Myrick, Billie Jo Holmes, Patricia Griffin and Mary Ruth Willcox. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
