He was predeceased by: his parents, Fallie Bailey and Clara Bailey; and his siblings, James Bailey, Buford Bailey, Willie J. Bailey, Richard Bailey, Ammie Lee Bailey, Ruby Jean Heck, Frances Smith, Myrtle Day and Cleonia Howze.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Magdalene Bearden Bailey (Mag); his children, Jasper Bailey (Beth) of Crestview, Teresa Burnham (William) of Ponce de Leon and Mary Arlene Revis (Jeff) of Weeki Wachee; his siblings, Junior Lee Bailey (Pinky) of Ponce de Leon, Mary Lois Sowell (Lavon) of West Bay and Lucy Mae Wood (Talmadge) of Darlington; and his brother-in-law Shirley (Rheams Scott). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; and a very special sister-in-law.
