He is survived by: his wife Martha Claire; his siblings, Robert (Brenda) and Frances (Terry); his children, Penelope, Pamela, Polly (Emilio) and Ballard (Sara); his grandchildren, Wesley, Vincent, Landon and Barrett; his nieces and nephews, Michele (Sam), Katrina (Kevin), Dusty (Erin) and Molly (Jared); his daughter Gomer Piles; and his friend Bill Mitchell.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Davis-Watkins Funeral Home Chapel (1474 FL-83, Defuniak Springs, FL 32433).
