With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Norton of Defuniak Springs, Florida, born in Black Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on June 4, 2021 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Marion Norton and Ada Freeman Norton; and his siblings, Tommy Norton, Lonnie Norton, Bud Norton and Peggy Flack.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Norton; his son Brent (Betty); his grandchildren, Samuel and Britani (Brad); and his sister Betty Ensley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
