With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hansel Geoghagan (Defuniak Springs, Florida), who passed away on March 30, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hansel Geoghagan to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Geoghagan and Zella Daughtry Geoghagan; his brother Buzz Geoghagan (Sonja); and his son-in-law Kirk Zessin. He is survived by: his wife Jean Thorn; his children, Dennis (Kay), Tim (Beth) and Cynthia Zessin; his grandchildren, Rachel Taylor (Josh), Katie Joffe (Benjamin), Kelly Petrey (PJ), Drew Geoghagan (Kristina), Dan Geoghagan (Lauren), Dustin Geoghagan (Ashley), Blake Zessin (Maryllyn) and Chad Zessin; and his brother Larry Geoghagan (Glenda Jo). He is also survived by in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to New Harmony Baptist Church, 2281 County Highway 2A, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32433.
