It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Syson of Defuniak Springs, Florida, born in Lake View, South Carolina, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Dew and Leatha Dew; and her sisters, Jenny Warren and Faye Zimmerie. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa (Tom) of Niles, Michigan; her grandchildren, Amanda, Eric and Meagan; her great grandchildren, Dillon and Aubrie; and her siblings, Sylvester Dew (Debbie), Darlene Bartelson, Brenda Owens, Wanda Webb (Jack), Renee Mooney and Tami Trentham (David).
