He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Glenn Helmick, II and Irene Hasiak; his sister Harriett Helmick; his son Eric Helmick; and his grandson Alec Forehand.
He is survived by: his children, Jean Irene Helmick, Jeremy Stacy and Emily Lawson (Tyler Childree); his grandchildren, Ivan Taylor, Alexis Taylor, Kirsten Lawson, Rockey Lawson, JC Harstvedt, Jayden Helmick, Gabrielle Williams, Grace Williams, Lilliana Whitehurst, Nevaeh Childree, Jade Covington and Tia Leathers; and his siblings, Harry Helmick, Donnie Hasiak, Karen Stone and Carol Casteel.
