He is survived by: his sons, Donald Norman Helms, Jr. (Suzette) and David Leslie Helms of Alpharetta, GA.; and his grandchildren, Patrick David Helms (Rachel) of Jupiter, Katherine Courtney Helms of Rockledge, Allison King of Marietta, GA and Jackson Helms of Atlanta, GA.. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
