He is survived by: his wife Debra Hager; his daughter Glenna Hunkins of Columbus, Ohio; his stepchildren, Stephanie Gore of DeFuniak Springs, Florida and Ralph Michael Gore of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; and his siblings, Lily Gilroy of Columbus, Maryann Cook of DeFuniak Springs, Irene Hager of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Doug Hager of Pensacola, Jimmy Hager of Pensacola and Eugene Hager of Aleria, Ohio. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
