He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Neal Matlock and Neel Matlock; and his siblings, Greg, Chuck, Jim, Larry and Judy York.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Matlock of Michigan, Valerie Weber of Jacksonville and Steve Matlock of Lake Wales, Florida.; his grandchildren, Nate, Erin, Emmett, Grant and Clarence; his grandfather Bradley Jackson; and his partner Voncille McLeod. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
