He was predeceased by: his brother Rodney Adkinson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Susan Harvell Adkinson; his son Clay Brown Adkinson (Lauren); his granddaughter Isabella Monroe Adkinson; his brother Michael A. Adkinson, Sr. (Patsy); his nieces and nephews, Michael A. Adkinson, Jr. (Erin), Shadler Adkinson (Hope) and Sommer Adkinson Adams (Marcus); his sister Kay Adkinson Slay; and his niece Catherine Michelle Slay. He is also survived by cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
