He is survived by: his mother Sally McWhiney Miller; his wife Elaine Shackelford of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; his stepchildren, Amy Mitchell, Noelle Rushforth and Kevin Rushforth, Jr. (Brianna); and his sister Monisa Mooney (Jay). He is also survived by six step-grandchildren.
