He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Luverne Grubbs and Mary Lou Scarbrough Johnson; his stepfather Vernon Aubrey Johnson; his sister Maxine Marie Luckey; his granddaughter Kayla Nicole Grubbs; and his great grandchild Remington Jase Bielec.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Louise Parker Grubbs; his children, Priscilla L Grubbs (Bryan Vanhoose), Vickie LM Carroll (James Carroll), Mary A Crane (Charlie Gilliam), Bobby L. Grubbs and Alisia M Beck (Cory Beck); and his sister Patricia Ann Reynolds (Jeff Reynolds). He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
