It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Kennington Stafford of Defuniak Springs, Florida, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Patrick Kennington and Sarah Rigdon Kennington; her husband Gene Stafford (Pete); and her siblings, Cameron Reese Kennington, Carmen Lou Kennington, James Rigdon Kennington and Dallas Washington Kennington.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Stafford (Carol Sholes Stafford) and Carol S. Knight (Rob Knight); her grandchildren, Jack Knight, Sarah Furr and Tuck Stafford; and her great grandchild Crew Furr.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel (230 Park Ave, Defuniak Springs, FL 32435). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
