With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ashlyn Nichole Encardes (Defuniak Springs, Florida), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 11, 2025 at the age of 31. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, David, Shirley Holladay and Chris Encardes; her uncle Josh Encardes; and her great-grandparents, Robert C. Padgett, Lois Padgett and Claire Encardes.
She is survived by: her parents, Jason Encardes and Melissa "Holladay" Encardes; her fiancé Garrett Bruner; her brothers, Matthew Encardes and Adlee (Patty Bruner); her grandmother Jacque "Nana" Encardes; her uncle Ron; her aunt Maureen Lewis; her cousins, Trevor Lewis (Ashleigh Lewis), Kelsey Lewis, Steve Encardes (Jean-Anne), Larry and Carol Ratliff; and also Marji Booker (Ced). She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel (230 Park Ave, Defuniak Springs, FL 32435). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (216 Live Oak Ave E, Defuniak Springs, FL 32435).
