She was predeceased by: her husband James H. "Jack" Pickett; her parents, Geddes Priest and Crystal Priest (Edwards); and her siblings, Lois Steele and Franklin Clay Priest.

She is survived by: her nieces, Patty Miller and Bobbie Jo White; and her nephew Wally Steele.
