He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus R. Montgomery and Carrie Lee Owen Montgomery; and his sister Polly M. Gray. He is survived by: his wife Billye Floyd Montgomery; his sons, Dickey Montgomery (Patricia) of Pontotoc, MS and Pat Montgomery (Jerri) of Pontotoc, MS; his grandchildren, Hope Alese Armstrong (Lee) of Nashville, TN and Patrick Montgomery of Denver, CO; his great grandchild Lilly Rivers Armstrong; his stepgrandchildren, Nathan Putt, Kuristy Bedford (Gregg) and Shane Putt (Jessica); his stepgreat-grandson Braylor Young; his sister-in-law Lovie "Sis" Owen; and his nieces, Pam White and Christi Littlejohn.
