We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2021, at the age of 91, Samuel Grady Truitt Sr. (Deerfield Beach, Florida) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Peggy Smith Truitt; and his parents, Martin Grady Truitt and Adel Marie Truitt. He is survived by: his wife Diane O'Neil Truitt; his children, Samuel G. Truitt, Jr. (Peggy) and Melinda Watson (Duane); his grandchildren, Tara Alm-Bott (Jimmy), Lisa Plouffe (Jonathan), Zachary Watson and Tessa Watson; his great grandchildren, Nicholas Alm, Andrew Alm, Elvis Plouffe, Jaxson Bott and Miles Plouffe; his children, Beth King (Bob), John O'Neil (Leslie), Robbie O'Neil (Amy) and Patrick O'Neil; his grandchildren, Frank DeThomas, Shannon O'Neil, Joseph O'Neil and Dane O'Neil; his brother Dr. William E. Truitt (Dottie); and his sister-in-law Janet Morris Smith. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
