It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Thorn (Deerfield Beach, Florida), born in Westford, New York, who passed away on August 1, 2017, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kent Thorn and Carolyn Thorn (Roberts); his wife Doris Ketchum; and his brother Dean Thorn. He is survived by: his children, Doug, Sharon Cottle of Oneonta, Delores Smith (George) of Maryland and Douglas Cottle (Jacqueline) of Norwich; and his siblings, Don Thorn of Rochester, David Thorn of Cooperstown and Joyce Hurley of Unadilla. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
