She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Tutor and Myrtis Brown Tutor; her husband William Hoyle Smith; her children, Patricia Daniels and Will Smith; her grandson Shane Smith; and her siblings, Vertis B. Vance, Myrtice Marie Singleton, Lorene Long, Curtis Tutor, George Tutor and Henry Tutor.
She is survived by: her children, Rachel Bagwell (Luther) and Johnny Smith (Linda); her daughter-in-law Eva Smith; and her siblings, Kathleen Moore, Jerry Tutor (Marilyn), Billy Tutor and Kenneth Tutor. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren.
