It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Lee Stroope (Deerfield Beach, Florida), who passed away on May 31, 2017, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carly Stroope and Ola Stroope; his wife Janice Hilley of Smyer; his brother James Stroope; and his nephew Ron Stroope of Smyer.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Leah Stroope) and Mark (Linette Stroope); his grandchildren, Justin, Sabrina Stroope of Amarillo, Jason, Rebecca Stroope of Amarillo, Jon, Emily Stroope of Round Rock, Lyndee and Kody Gilmore of Waco; his siblings, Marie Shinpaugh of Waxahachie and Charles; his sister-in-law Joanne Stroope of Cotton Center; and his great grandchildren, Jordan, Hayden, Hunter, Jase Stroope, Haddie Shields, Conner and McKenzie McIntire.
