With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Richard Mitzel (Deerfield Beach, Florida), born in Clatskanie, Oregon, who passed away on May 22, 2017 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Mitzel and Helen Mitzel. He is survived by: his former wife Gwendolyn Jeanne Smith; his wife Gwen; his son Andy Mitzel (Amy); his grandsons, Brennan, Calvin and Daniel; and his sister Verna Kolkowsky (John).
