Janice Irene Harrison Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Irene Harrison (Deerfield Beach, Florida), who passed away on August 16, 2017 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett Calvert and Nina Calvert; her husband Duvert B. "Dub" Harrison; her brother Gary Calvert; and her grandsons, Joshua Harrison, Zachary Harrison and Caleb Harrison.

She is survived by: her children, Cherry Flanagan (Butch), John D. Harrison (Felicia), Paul M. Harrison (Michaelle) and Joel A. Harrison (Pam); her siblings, Evelyn Dearing, Hazel Milner, Emmett Calvert and Finis S. Calvert; and her grandchildren, Jenifer Flanagan, Jaycee Butler (Eric), Anna Laurin Coffman (Andy), Courtney Terrell (Anthony), Jason Harrison (Anna), John Hudson Harrison, David Harrison and Luke Harrison. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Nina Tucker Calvert Scholarship Fund, Mississippi College, P.O. box 4005, Clinton, MS 39058. The family would like to express their appreciation for the staff at Quality Hospice, physicians and staff of Rush Foundation Hospital and Specialty Hospital of Meridian.
