It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George W. Gilliss of Deerfield Beach, Florida, who passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Judith Linnea Dunbar (Hernquist) and Henry Theodore "Ted" Dunbar; his brother William Gilliss (Norma); and his former wife Thelma Gilliss (Pepper). He is survived by: his daughter Judy Ann Gilliss of Manchester, Mass.; his wife Noreen of Magnolia, Mass.; his children, David Gilliss of Magnolia, Mass., Jennifer Jacobs (Jason), Ryan, Noah, Christin Clements of Erwin and Kelly Curley (Steve); his grandchildren, Mackenzie and Natalie; his children, Connor of Gloucester and Jaclyn Olson (D. J.); his grandchild Quinn; his sons, Miles and Caleb of Chelmsford, Mass.; his siblings, Charlotte Simpson (Bob) of Sarasota, Florida. and John Dunbar (Rosalind) of Magnolia, Mass.; his nephew Sean Gilliss (Debbie) of Essex, Mass.; his son-in-law Guy Lopes; his nephews, Stephen Gilliss, Michael Gilliss and Robbie Simpson; and his niece Dianne Gilliss.
