“Florence (Flossy) Postighone was a rare woman, indeed. Among her greatest accomplishments were serving as an ensign in The United States Navy, stationed in New Orleans caring for the burn victims during WW II. She deserves honors for raising four boys, and, as a business woman, building a business from the ground up, allowing for the family to live a long and productive life. She was an accomplished cook, loved children, and was the matron of the household. Babies were her favorite people!”
